Intro for a new year

Mr. Parker!

            Hello, I’m Scott Parker. I’m in the system as John, but it doesn’t count if even your parents don’t call you that, so call me Scott (if you’re not supposed to be calling me Mr. Parker).

            I was born in Florida, at McDill AFB, in 1976. My dad was in the Air Force, so we lived several places over the course of my childhood, including California, Las Vegas, Oklahoma, and here in North Carolina. I had never been out of the country prior to earlier this year, when I took a trip to Hong Kong as a Study Abroad student. All you students that are going to college, I highly recommend you take the opportunity to do this at some point. The expansion of your horizons is good for you, and will create memories that will last.
